The Story of Little Ashleigh

Little Ashleigh is an annex on our farmhouse which is the hub of family life on the working beef farm where we live.

Rob grew up here and I lived just down the road.  

We went to school together and re-met in 2016.

 We have three boys between us and they love the freedom of the farm and being outdoors.

The farm, situated in Salwayash Bridport, is run by Rob and his father.

We lovingly converted the annex that was previously used for family parties

and storage.  Erecting an internal wall to create the bedroom,

enlarging the toilet area into a shower room, moved the kitchen from one end to the other, installed  heating, lighting, insulation and all the bits that hide behind the beautiful simplistic decor.

The ethos of the project was to create a beautifully bespoke hideaway for

guests and their dogs to feel instantly relaxed in. 

To achieve this after the building work was completed we used local businesses,

artists, entrepreneurs and where possible used

preloved furniture and

other items to achieve the

uniqueness that is Little Ashleigh
